Character I created for a completely made up Japanese RPG (and unfortunately non-existent JRPG as I am not a programmer), Vaos Arcana. I haven't given the girl a name. :-D

I sketched out a basic outline on paper, then scanned it, and digitally painted it in Photoshop (leaving in some of the line art). I know the background/setting isn't all that great, but I couldn't afford to spend any more time on the project. I'm just TOO SLOW. Most artists could do what I do in about 1/10 the time. I'm serious. I probably spent about 15-20 hours on this; others could probably do something just as good or even better in about 1-2 hours.

Thanks. I did spend forever trying to make sure she looked just right. (Especially her face.)

Haha, I'm not a programmer, and even if I was I wouldn't have time. We can only dream of what the game might be like...

Looks great. Don't worry about how long it's taking you, you workflow will improve with time. In the meanwhile at least you get a great result for the time you out in...
I often waste on utter garbage :)

I think one of my main problems is not settling for anything less than (supposed) perfection. I'm always making minor changes here and there, and they really add up. Some of the changes are things I should have spotted much earlier in the process, other changes are things that most people probably wouldn't notice, but they bother me anyway. :-D
